Fuel Filter Standpipe

Need to replace standpipe on obs. SD standpipe is shorter, do you think it would matter? I have a superduty spare would save me from ordering one if available.

If everythig else is the same , I don't see why not ,, fuel will enter it sooner...? how much shorter?...

at least 3/4 inchnot more than 1 1/4inch no hurry now though just found uvc harness burned as well as gasket gotta order em so will order standpipe too

OK update got the pipe out of the sd bowl totally different,doesn't thread in like ours.Just a FYI

It was done on purpose. They do not interchange. Look at your filter it has a dimple in it. The outside top of the filter is dished. Thats the other side.
When you spin the filter down it opens the valve in the standpipe.
