Early 04 6.0 problem

Ok I'm having a no start hot issue. It's an early 04 6.0 changed HPOP about 8 months ago along with ipr and icp. Truck ran great about a week ago it started having hot no start issues so I figured it may have been the standpipes so I tore into it changed both sides and when I got to passenger side when I took the valve cover off stuck to the inside of the cover was half of an oring. I would say the oring is about one inch in diameter. Any clue where this piece of oring could have come from? Could it be from the injector cups on the log oil rail? And I'm still having the no start issue after the standpipes where installed!

Might be a top injector oring, remove the oil rail and check the nipple cups on the oil rail to see it they are loose and check to see if all of the orings are in the top of the injectors. creator has a post on here detailing the replacement of the nipple cups and orings and injector top orings.

Thanks for the quick reply I'm going to tear it back down this weekend. I'm hoping this is the cause. I wouldn't think any thing inside the valve cover would have a oring besides the nipple cup and injector

Is it soft rubber or hard plastic? Possible it could be the plastic collar off the oil line.
