Exclamation Newbie...hopefully

Hello all
I currently have a 01 escape xls and have asked some questions on here before...anyways I'll be getting rid of it soon and getting rid of my other car (02 x-type) and will more than likely be getting a sport trac. We get these questions I'm posting all of the time on jaguarforums.com and I feel bad asking this using the search feature I couldn't find much. Anyways I'm looking at getting a sport trac as my winter/bad weather driver as well as the trip taker. My question is what do all you recommend to someone shopping for one. This is the one I'm looking at currently and think its a decent price, mileage and appearance LINK>
I'm wondering what are some things I should look at and be weary of or years I should be weary of. Being a moderator on jagforums I know anything you'd need to know about the x-types but don't really have too much experience with the sport trac. Is the 4wd system pretty good? Yeah this may be a stupid question but I'd like to know. What about mpg for the older ones...pretty good/bad seems that averaging 16 is about it but what about traveling say 80 mph down the interstate does it get any better? Ok only a few more q's left...what about a 4wheeler will it fit in the back easily with the tailgate down or no? I don't mind it sitting on the wheel well hump in the bed either just want to know if it will fit. One last thing, If one does fit in the back with the gate down could I still tow a trailer with a couple more? Thanks guys!
