yup, i must say that for a little hick industrial town, that is just barely able to claim being a city, the people here for the most part seem to think they are big new yorkers or something. I came from Kelowna, which is 3 and almost 4 times the size of GP and its nowhere near as bad there...for the most part.
Thats why i live in beaverlodge, but mostly because I paid $75k for my trailer that is on its own lot not a park. Where it would have cost me an easy $175,000 in the city at the time.
hah i literallly bought the cheapest place on the MLS that I could find which was on its own lot.... turned out to be not too bad either.

I work for EnCana oil & gas for the past 10 years as a pipeline construction consultant and mostly now look after route selection, planning and regulatory and landowner issues. I also provide advice on environmental and construction issues. If you are looking for a construction job running equipment let me know maybe I could hook you up.
