I haven't foudn anythign that is really long lasting. Just the nature of the springs rubbing will kill even powder coating.
If I want to keep them good looking, just have to clean it off with degreaser every so often and respray.

Por 15 works good, wire brush off all the loose stuff wipe down with a towel and rubbing alcohol then paint, takes me two coats to get good coverage.
p.s. springs must have surface rust for por to work, it will not stick to new springs as good.
