Trailer towing mirrors

I have been looking for the correct west coast mirrors for months and I just tried using yahoo for a search engine instead of google and look what I found:

http://velvac.thomasnet.com/item/mir...3407?&seo=110#

This appears to be exactly what I was looking for. I'm so scared to get out on the highway with the factory mirrors it isn't even funny. Especially when I have to go through Dallas! Lubbock is almost as bad. These idiots don't don't care how big you are, they just come out of nowhere and cut you off. I totaled my last truck on ice last year when someone did that. I couldn't see him coming because he was hiding in my blind spot and in a little tiny car while we were on an on ramp. As soon as I started merging into traffic with my blinker on he shot out from behind and was right next to me. I was out of road and couldn't brake either so I just barely gave it some gas and that big old powerstroke responded by skidding in at least two complete circles all the way across 3 lanes of traffic and slamming the barrier.

Anyway, Do you all think these mirrors would be good?
This is what I am carrying mostly behind me:

It's a heavy one too. I don't need people catching me offguard anymore.

Sometimes I have a big goosneck flatbed with my tractor on it too. That one will be taking a lot of 12 hour trips to our other farm in the next couple years.

So what is everyones opinion of this brand of mirror? I've never heard of them before. I found a similar looking set at autozone and took them right back before I even drilled any holes. Boy they were flimsy looking. If I go with this brand I think I will get the heated mirror version too. I could sure use it around here.

They look like they should work,, I don't know how they mount though. .. it looks like it would give you plenty of view,, what mirrors do you have on now,, are they the aluninun frame, 2 point mount, ones? if so they offer some extenders that slip on the out side of them.. but if you do get new mirrors let me know I am looking for a repalcment set of the 2point mount stock mirrors. I got those cheap little factory plastic power adjustable ones on it. I miss those aluminum frame ones on my 91 truck. They were much better for towing than these are. They make extenders for them too but the man I bought it from said they were junk. He gave me the passenger side one. He said the other blew off on the road. We get some wicked winds around here. I put little spot mirrors in the corners of these factory ones and they help a little but not much. I would like to be able to see my trailer tires. And the traffic behind me at the same time. Right now, in the slightest little turn I'm blind.
