heat issue???

heat issue???

today was the coldest day so far this winter 25 degrees this morning. Had the heat on high was driving then it was blowing cold air so i turned the temp. control **** to cold then back to hot and had heat again anyone else have this happen or what it could be???

I had a heat problem with it blowing cold and the coolant was low

checked the fluid was low so i put some in took it for a ride got up to temp. checked again nothing in the container now what??? looks like the cap is leaking. head gasket ???

Check your oil...see if coolent is in the oil. It'll read way high....look whitish...bubbly. If so...it's tear down time.

Took it to the dealer and it ended up being both head gaskets shot replaced the oil cooler, egr cooler degas bottle. picked it up tonight truck runs sweet so glad that it was covered
