If it the same dash mount as the mid fifties models try www.midfifties.com catalog they have some instructions on how to remove.

Dont hold me to this.............
Kinda remember doing one years ago and I think you have to turn it to the Accessory position then there is a pinhole in the front or back that you push a wire (cutting torch cleaning tool?) and tumbler should pull out. Now don't hold me to that, with age goes memory "what was I just doing?)
