99 expo EB electrical gremlin please help!
A new problem cropped up on my 99 expo yesterday. The radio is going on and off at will. Not such a big deal but, after I drove it and parked, I looked outside to find my headlights flashing on and off rapidly! I went out and shut off the automatic headlight switch and that shut off the lights. But then I tried to start it and the theft light on the dash was flashing while it was turning over and it would not start. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it. It then would start, but now the radio is on and off again! Any ideas? I just replaced the battery two months ago. The temperature has dropped down to the low 30's to mid 20's. That is the only change I can think of. I just read something about the gem. I am guessing this is some sort of module, but where is it located and are they expensive to replace?

Took apart the fuse box and gem last night. I has a trace amount of water on the plugs on the back of the fuse panel and a couple little specs of green on the contacts for one of the plugs. Took apart the gem and saw no signs of water at all. Anyone know the price of a new fuse panel? I know the windshield needs to be fixed, but is there a trick to divert the water in case it ever happens again?
