Smile plug,Coil On Plug, Alt,pumps compatibility???

Is there any interchangable parts like boots, coils,Alt,pumps on V10 engines.
got Chance 2 buy some from some E series on local scrapyard.
there's 2 econolines one with 4900K ,second 9000K ,well smashed but engines looks like knew probably 2007 .Could get some parts for the fraction of the real price.
I'm just not sure what parts will fit my ride and if.
EX 2002,V10 XLT all bells and whisles,89K Miles on it.
ThanX

Any 2001 to 2004 junk yard motor should have a lot of interchangeable parts... the E-series V10 in a van had a different intake snorkel but that is really the only significant difference

But I seriously doubt with your 02 V10 that you will need any thing other then the FEAD front drive belt, or alternator for your truck any time soon...

even if the motors were free you have to get them, store them and those are problems only you can factor into the game..... If you can tell the heads are in good shape and the motors are exceptionally cheap you could e-bay all four heads to someone with a blown spark plug... might turn some green that way

thanks for reply, you're right about storing it etc.
they're asking $5 per COP if I remove it my self, alternator $45 etc.
I would not take whole motor but few parts like that especially COPs if they fit on mine, eventually some sensors.I was about to change plugs on mine and "new" COPs,boots would be a plus, the heads are there in case ....you know what. All this doesn't come around often ,but will all this from 2007's fit they said "no problem V10 is V10"?I did not ask for heads but I think $200-300 for each wouldn't be much to pay if I need them????
thanx
And for all that I could find some carton box.

Hey it sounds like a rare find...most junk yards I know look up the factory part and price then charge 80% or more...

If they are giving you free access to remove and pay for exterior parts from both motors you should strip everything off the outside of one of them and at least ask about the head prices...if you can con them down under $150 or so you could make all your money back on e-bay just selling one head....

These should be same as your motor... The e series did not get the 3v V10 motor so those motors should be a direct replacment for yours excpet the intake plumbing
