Block heater buzzing?????

I cam out one morning abd the truck was BUZZING, then when I unplugged it, the BUZZING went away.

The engine was warmed by it, and the wire was no hotter than usual, but the temp outside was warmer than I had expected, and the heater would not have been needed at all.

The fear of the fire department waking us up in the middle of the night to let me know they had put out my burnign truck had prevented me from using it again, and tomorrow I will be needing it if I want an easy start.

BUT, BUT, BUT, it never sizzled before that I know of.

So you say that the loud buzzing is normal?

No fear of STS (scorched truck sindrome)?

Because STS leads to NCI (non commute itus)

NCI leads to NSAW (no show at work)

NSAW leads to NJI (no job itus)

NJI leads to NMCI (no money coming in)

And NMCI leads to NPFTW (no punany from the wife)

And only that last one makes al the others serious.

Mine sounds like a coffee pot perking when it is plugged in.
I would not call it a buzzing sound, but my ears don't work that well either.

In my case, it would be very serious before I reached NSAW, I have to much fun at work.

Is it a bad thing when you would rather go to work than stay at home with the wife?

I'll take both at work *and* at home. If you aren't enjoying every moment, you're not doing it right

my ears ain't what they used to be either, but i hear my block heater whether it's 18 degrees or 90 degrees, so don't think you have a worry, just means it's working.
