This might be an obvious (rebuild), but before the transmission shop gets back to me I was wondering if the community has some advice.
To make a long story short, I was stuck in sand and I beleive I revved the engine too high without the wheels actually moving. Now my Reverse works, but none of the "forward" gears do: that is D,1,2...
When put it into "drive" it just acts like it is in neutral.
Any adivice as to what to ask the shop? (I did check the fluid level, was good). I know they are going to tell me to get it rebuilt, but I was hoping maybe it's something simpler (cheaper).
