New to the Fourm
My name is Bill. I own (essentially) a WWII 1940's "Burma" Ford Weapons Carrier (GTB). Well, it's a "Burma" Ford Weapons Carrier in name only. The Gentleman I purchased this beauty form had stripped off the original body, stretched the frame, and installed a reproduction body for a 1942 WWII German Steyr Troop Carrier. As I am a WWII Reenactor, with my impression being of a German Soldier, this works out just fine for me. But the basis of the vehicle is still a 226, Model G, Flathead 6. It has a few problems, but runs great. Plans are to get a replacement exhaust manifold as the one I have now has a hole in it or is cracked. Does anyone know if a Model G and Model H are the same manifolds? I also need to acquire some new of 6-bolt 20" wheels. The ones I have now are all split rims and of these, 2 have been modified and wobble when driven at higher speeds. I would like to get standard wheels so as to do away with the split rim design. Can anyone help out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can post a pic or two of my "Steyr" at a later date.
Sincerely,
Steyr-Bill

That is an interesting piece of hardware you have. There is a lot of technical help in the forums so be sure and look them over. Try this one for your application: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum42/ Most state chapters have a for sale/want thread where you can post want you want although finding parts for yours might be a big harder. Here is the link to your state chapter: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum122/
Good luck!
