My ford needs some help!
OK I have a 97 f-150 4.2L V6. I have been having issues with the check engine light. I read the codes and it was reading misfire cylinder 5. I changed the plugs, plug wires, coil, and fuel injector. It only missed every once in awhile. Starting today she has been running rough. So I read the codes again, now it reads; insufficient flow to EGR valve, misfire cylinder 1,3, and 5. I am supposed to take it into the shop next week because I GIVE up. Has anyone has any problems like this. It has been a great truck but this is driving me crazy. Everyone has told me something different, Thanks

Befor you take it to the shop check the DPFE sensor.I had a similar thing happen and my sensor was only 1/10th of a volt out of spec.Check with your dealler for the alowable voltage range (lol)
