Reason: added text
It is, but many times the photos are so big that you have to side scroll to read the text and we prefer that you don't. When put in your gallery, anyone from any thread can click on your user name and see the photo. The other way only in that post.
For anyone that has been here for a while, just say "I added a photo to my gallery" and we know how to see it. That is if we want to. I don't need to see the truck that some newbie just bought and just has to show and tell, I don't need to see another frikken picture of an engine in a truck. They all have them.
There are some photo groupies that don't have a life that wants to see a picture of every truck on earth. If you have had as much grease on your skin, in your hair, and ruined as many clothes with grease as I have you don't need to see another picture of a truck. You know what they look like up close and personal.
Please just add them to your photo gallery, and not to the threads.
Well I Sure As H--l Wouldn't Want To Offend Anyone With A Picture Of A Hubcap For The Sake Of Helping Someone Find What They're Looking For. I've Been On Here For About 4 Days And Haven't Recieved Any Helpful Information About My Power Steering Issue Nor Have I Found The Door Sill Plates That I'm Looking For. I Have Found, Well Never Mind..........
Just because you didn't get the answer that you wanted, you argue.
You have gotten replies for every question you have asked. You subbed a different manufacturer front end in your truck and want some magic answer for your problem. You argued with Bill over the size of the hubcap. We tried to tell you there is only one carpet strip but there could be one alternative, and I suggested you place your photo in your gallery.
low-n-fat , sorry you got a rude reply . I have not yet used the "ignore" feature , but I will now. I hope you will stay and do the same.
What was rude about the reply. Sometimes a small wrench does not work, and you have to get a bigger hammer out.
I tried to be nice and tell him to post his photos in this sites preferred place, the provided photo gallery, but that wasn't good enough, so now I am rude.
Anyone who has not gotten an answer to something they want to know on this site is one of two things- very impatient, or just lazy. If you don't search (not saying that I am not guilty of that), then it could take awhile for the right person to see your question. On that same note- being rude to someone who actually did try to help is the fastest way to getting NO help. While it can be very frustrating trying to describe a certain problem, remember this: with as many people are on this site, and the amount of combined knowledge therein, you really can't be given a WRONG answer. Someone will step right up and say "hey- that's not correct." and then state their case as to why.
I feel it is unfair of someone with a low post count to "slam" on this site or anyone here who genuinely tries to help, when that person is making this judgement with very few posts to his own credit to judge by. I have 4 trucks and I know them all quite well. The amount of knowledge that I personally have gained about these trucks just since I have been a part of this site (twice), is incredible.
As far as my knowledge of this site, it is increasing every day. What is this ignore feature you speak of? I wish to utilize it for the rude newbs who don't search!!!!
