Line Locks
I have been reading about line locks. They don't work they way I thought they did. Apparently they lock pressure on the front brakes. So turn it on. .. pump up the brakes. . . release brakes and only the fronts hold. Well I'm wondering if there is a kit that will just shut off the rear brakes. It seems that the line locks are like switcheable check valves. Could I just install one backwards on the rear brakes so it won't allow pressure to the rears? I would rather be able to have control over the front brakes with the pedal.

Yes you can do that with a line lock, but I don't think they are continuous duty as I recall so you can't just lock them and leave them as the solenoid will get hot and burn up.
