Engine Cuts Off While Stopping?
Hey Guys,
I have a problem with my '97 F150. While coming to a stop after cruising for awhile, my engine will shut off. It will start back up immediately like nothing happened. I have also noticed several times that when I come off the gas, engine speed will stay the same, then slowly decrease. I think I have had (or at least part of) this problem since I have owned the truck, because it has always been harder to brake to a stop than it is in my '97 Expedition. Is this a transmission thing? Torque Converter thing?
