door ajar light
my door ajar light stays on its makeing me very angry how do i get rid of it.

The switch is mounted in the door on the latch. It is usually the drivers door that causes the problem. Try a brake parts cleaner or electrical parts cleaner and spray it into the latch from all angles. Lots of it. Work the door latch several times and spray more. It will usually work. If all else fails remove door panel for axcess.

You didn't mention if you had a extended cab or not but if you do it might be one of the back doors I have to slam the 
of it to keep my light off on my 2001 extended cab f-150 also my girlfriend has an xtra cab ranger with the same prob.
