Derale vs mag-hytech

Just curious to see if anyone had checked tranny temps against the two. Did a search and found nothing but maybe someone has some experience.

I have the Mag-Hytec tranny pan along with diff covers. I didn't have gages before I installed it so I can't comment about tranny temps before it was on the truck. I did take a trip last August with maybe 1000 pounds in the back and never saw over 145*F for the tranny. I wired both diffs into the tranny temp gage through a 2-pole, 6 position selector switch, and am adding coolant temp tomorrow once the adaptor comes in. I will probably put another temp probe in to monitor oil temp, which will leave me one open terminal left. The tranny temp gage has a range of 100-280*F so any parameter that falls within that range can be monitored on it. I am using the same probe for all inputs.

I had guages before putting on the mag hytek pan; temps didn't change for me one bit over stock. About all I got out of that mod was a compliment from the guy who changes my oil.
