my 95 7.3 5speed 5'' stacks flat bed dump 4 wheel drive house puller is sick. are we looken at o rings on the injectors need some input. thanks sassy dog
since noone else has chimed in.... are there any other symptoms?? could be injector o-rings... does it only smoke when you first start it up or always?? how many miles?? any mods?? how old are the injectors??
blue smoke is normal on startup, what temperature is it where you live??
How is blue smoke normal? Blue smoke indicates oil is getting past the rings and is being burned. Unburned fuel from a cold engine at start up is always white or grey.
The best way to tell the source is to smell the smoke.

the smoke normally has a LIGHT blue tint to it... i'm not sure if he means a heavy blue or a white-blue (which is normal)
