I've seen two.. is a project truck from Tubronetics, and it looked cool, but only because it was dead center of the truck bed, angled back at something like a 45° angle which made it look like a stinger. The second looked OK but was a single (probably not street legal) stack coming vertically straight up through the hood on the passenger side.

I thought about doing a single stack at first but was more impressed by dual stacks the more I looked at them. Just google it and you'll find all kinds of pictures. You always see them in diesel mags too. I personally like a single black stack, that looks sweet!

My vote goes to the mitre-cut single stack.

But for a dually... two as big as you can stand!

My .02

I thought about going with a single but putting it behide the passenger side not in the middle with a straight cut 7" I like the straights better and nobody else seems to run them. I had started a thread (I traded my truck off) and talked about it. There is some one that replied with a picture of his truck with single stack. I went with the dual straight cut stacks 5" and love them they look awesome to me anyway and sound great.

i think i like the single pipe and i can just build my own. lets see a little flex pipe and a slip on 4/5 inch stack with a few clamps and i should be set. anyone got some flex pipe like 4" id. or so?

I have been toying around with the idea of a single 6 or 7" stack in the dead center. I think it's more of a cool thing when you have an insane amount of HP and you can really shoot the smoke a few feet up when youre going along at speed. But i dont have that yet, and it won't be for a few months to a year, so i think ill keep my dual 6" stacks.

I just ordered a set of the dual mitre cut stacks for my 99 F-350 dually, which should be here in 2 days. can't wait to put them on. as far a a single or dual stack----it all depends on what you like. can't go wrong either way.

Single stack is my favorite setup for stacks, be it on a Ford, Dodge, or Chevy. I still don't want to sacrifice the bed space, or I'd set mine up that way.
