Has anyone heard or ran into getting misfire codes on different cylinders after changing plugs and putting on a new coil. I was wondering, since after I replaced #4 coil, got misfire code #8, replaced that one have misfire #1. I have seen simiular results with a GM 6.2 glowplug, where 1 goes bad, others die slowly. I'm to the point of changing other 6 coils. It's on a 98 F150 4x4 5.4 auto w/168k. I talked to a dealer, and they said they have seen it before. Any ideas?

I had a local garage do it, I believe they are Autolite Platinum (he does alot of business with a local NAPA). Dealer said it may cause it and maybe should have used Motorcraft. Now truck is running good, got a another coil to put on #1 as I get a little "hiccup" now and then but no codes. Thanks for the reply!
