66 Crew Cab
does anyone have any pics of these? How many were made? Mostly railroad orders or pipeline/oil rigs?
If this comes to fruition, my 66 is going up for sale (wife says so, unless I would like to sleep in the new truck) hopefully it is in decent shape, says he hasn't driven it in about 5 yrs,,, we'll see!!!

Look on the trucks warranty plate (located on the door face or mebbe on the inside of the glovebox door) for the color code. If it's blank or has SS stamped there, it was painted in a non standard color. US Gov't, RR's, USFS vehicles use a specific color: Army = olive drab, USAF = dark blue, USFS = green, etc. Look at the DSO number, it'll be 6 digits. If the first two are 83 = US Gov't purchased.
Bench seats were standard. Bucket seats were available only on 1965/66 Rangers and are identical to 1965/66 Mustang buckets. The CC's were all special ordered, and were not listed in sales brochures*...so bucket seats or anything else is possible.
I've seen pics of these trucks posted here in threads, mebbe a search will turn one up.
*I never knew Ford even offered 1965/66 CC's until I saw one parked near The Needles in the Black Hills of SD in 1989. Stunned, I pulled over, looked it over...and took some 35mm pics.
