Hi all............

Things have been tough so I haven't been on this website in a while. I enjoyed reading some of the posts I have missed in the past.

I replaced the ball joints on the right side a few months ago. I had a great deal of trouble getting things apart due to light surface rust between the steering knuckle and the spindle which hindered taking other things apart. Also, I could not get the U-joints apart in the front wheel drive shaft. In a few months I am going to replace the left ball joints even though they seem to be in good shape.

I am in need of a really good penetrating oil to soak things before I start the job. I tried Sili Kroil and Aerokroil which has always been effective in the past on other things but it didn't help this time. I tried a Google search but can't quite believe all the MFG claims of theirs being the best on the market.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Jack

Thank you coolman1 and miller_feed.

I have not heard of tri-flow but I have heard of PB-Blaster. I will check them both out today so I can start applying it to suspected problem areas. I don't drive the truck very often so whatever I use can start doing do it's jpb.

Much appreciated.
