block heater

I just picked up a '95 F250 PSD/auto. I have been told that these trucks all came with block heaters. Where is the plug located?

Very few didn't come with the block heater but most are hard to find. The plug may be behind the grill or bumper or it may be tied up by the driverside battery. if you can't find it or want to look at the source first here is where the actual heater is then you can trace the wire to the front

It should be up around the driver side battery. Possibly hanging in between the radiator and the battery. If not, just follow the cord from the block. My was stuffed in there pretty good.

Do you think the rear main could be caused by the high cc pressure you have? Maybe it is not bad just blowing by.

Neal that could very well be. Maybe I need to remove my CCV trap and let it vent again and see what it does. If it works I just need to decided which I hate worse! The smoke from the CCV or the oil on the pan.

Oh It just started when you put in the trap? I wouldn't think the trap added restriction to the ccv.

I have no idea when it started. Its just a possiblilty. I didn't pay much attention to it as to when it started. But I can do something to see if that is the case. Its very possible!
