More power please

Hey I was wondering how to get more power from my 302 fuel injected engine. I am almost 16 and anything cheap to get me more power would be good. I've already got dual exhaust on it any tips would be great thanks

What rearend gear ratio do you have? Also what size tires are you running? Is it 4x4?

If your running low on money I would be saving money to keep up with maintinace istead of trying to get more power

I'd have to agree about the 460 part.

My F-250 has so much ungodly torque I barely have to touch the throttle to get her to go. If I give it too much gas from a stopped position (even grinding the clutch) she LOVES to spin the tires.

Of course, the 8-10 mpg kinda sucks, but then again having a $500 truck that has that much power kinda makes up for it. (plus having no car payments and cheap insurance helps...)

You are not going to be able to do much with the 302. If you are going to drive it everyday, then leave it as is, since it will get fairly decent gas mileage. The reason I was asking about the gears is if you change them to a higher number, especially after putting bigger tires on it, it will give you more pep.

just do simple upgrades to keep the fuel economy up, and reliability the same. for example; hedders, intake manifold, carb. just let it breath easier make sure your plugs and wires are good, etc. Thats what I would do for now, if youre using it as a daily driver, you can always upgrade over time. a 4x4 conversion is kind of expensive. You doing that yourself?

His engine is fuel injected, so his options are limited and expensive.
