5.4 knocks once at start

5.4 knocks once at start
I have a '05 F150 5.4 V8 with 14,000 mi. Just bought this truck as a Certified Pre-Owned. It has a fairly loud knock when you start the truck but just one knock then fine. Does not happen all the time. Do you think this is anything to be concerned about? It is still under original warranty, should I have this checked?

Did you resolve this? I would try a Motorcraft oil filter in it if it does not already have one in it. A filter with the incorrect antidrainback valve can cause a dry start condition. This has been talked about in the 2004+ Forum.
