ive put headers on mine a big pain in the ***. mite not be to bad just replacing gasket getting to some of the bolts is the hard part you may see how hard it is for you to get to them then decide if you can do it.

I got them replaced on my pass side for around $300, they had to resurface the exhaust manifold. I argued to get them down to that price because I accused them of sabotage, they tried to tell me my manifold was unsurfaceable when they sent it away to a shop, so I called that shop and caught them for lying.

Like 73mach1 said, it's a PITA, but doable if you have the patience and time.
The manifolds are held on with studs / nuts, not bolts so the entire manifold needs to come off so the gaskets can be removed. They are metal and have a serrated retainer that slip on over the studs to hold them in place till you get the manifolds back on.
For the effort you are going through, I'd install a set of headers as well.
