Loping idle problem solved
This was the problem that I was having that I have heard numerous complaints about on this forum. When I started my bronco it would idle rough, loping up and down like it had a carb with a vacuum leak. (Has EFI) Then after running anywhere from 5 seconds to 20 minutes it would smooth out suddenly. Cleaned the EGR like was suggested. No change. Put on a new IAC valve. No change. Got to playing with the EGR valve one day and pulled the vacuum line going to it. It smoothed out. Found that the EGR valve was not stuck, but it was opening at idle, which it should not do. Thought others might be having the same problem.
