just put in an afe cai and magnaflow sido cat back.... got a couple mpg increase. dunno how much is from the cai or exhaust but a definite increase. my guy at my performance shop says that afe is as good as banks just $100 cheaper cuz u don't pay for the banks name
well after resetting my computer by disconnecting the battery, according to the mpg on my computer i get at least 2 mpg better after the sido and afe cai. noticable difference in how often i refill too
I run the AirAid and Have been really happy with it. I put it on right after I did the MagnaFlow SIDO exhaust. AirAid redesigned the intake tube about a year or more ago to stop the A/F from throwing a code. I got the code tylus was refering to and when I called AirAid they told me that they redesigned it and would send me another which they did and it worked great. I didn't get my tuner until about 6 months later but I bought it just because I wanted the added power not to fix anything about my CAI.
I also agree with Tylus in that I have NEVER heard Volant was a low end CAI as a matter of fact if I was going to do it all over again I would buy the Volant over all others.
I got the volant on mine also and love the thing. The only bad thing I heard about Volant is when the 2004's first came out the volant intakes would lean them out. That was fixed a sort time after and now they are awesome.

yep...never had a CEL on my truck
OBXRedneck is right...all of the CAI's were throwing CEL's when the trucks first debutted. they've also all pretty much fixed themselves as well
