Hateing the holidays this year.

This year its our turn to host Thanksgiving dinner and the Ol' lady has me painting inside the house. Like anybody is going to notice. Its not like it needs it shes changed the colors. Well I'm almost done. One good thing it'll be another 7 years before it comes back around again.

Dude, you either have not been married very long, or you ain't learned crap yet! (lol).
Learn where your water meter shut off is and turn it off for a little bit while the wife is home, Uh oh, problems. Then two days before shut it off again overnight. She will not want anyone over with no water in the house. Or, trip the breaker to the kitchen 1 - 2 days before Thanksgiving, My oh my, where in the world are we gona find an electrician right before thanksgiving????? Guess there wil be no cooking here! dangh it! Lol. just some advice.
Oh yea, i live out in the country, and have used this one before. Find a local chicken grower and get a coffee can full of the good stuff the birds drop and hide it somewhere around the front door. Again, she will not allow any one near her house with that kind of smell about.

Thats just bad.........

Me I love this time of year, I don't get to see two of my kids and the grandbaby since their out of state except for Thanksgiving and christmas. One is going in the Navy right after Thanksgiving so she will be in boot camp at Christmas. which makes this Thanksgiving even more special for me.

Holidays are the only time I can get any work done around here. I'm usually hammering, painting and caulking before and after holiday meals.
