This morning I was going to church, started my '01 PSD and started to back it out of the carport and I think I heard a pop and it quit. It will turn over, and over and will not fire. Can anybody HELP ME?
Just checked all the fuses. Still turns over, no fire. I still get the WTS light. I also noticed that the oil pressure gauge never moves, but it never would until the pressure builds up right? I do not know what to do.

Where is the fuel shut off switch on the passenger side of the truck. I have a feeling that might have been the thing I heard pop. It shut off instantly.
Ok, I'll take it to a Ford store in the morning. I guess I'll start with the camshaft Positioning sensor, but it doesn't make sense to me that it started and then shut off. Maybe it is something to do with the ignition like when you turn the diesel off, something has to shut the fuel off. I don't know, I'm a dope when it comes to motors.
I had mu EX towed to Treadwell Ford in Mobile. I pray that it is something simple/cheap/quick fix. They are two-three days behind now. If I had a child that was mechanically inclined, I would push them to become a diesel mechanic. They would NEVER have to look for a job.

Yea, I know. I called a friend that is shop forman at a dealership out of town. He said that the pricing was about right. I have absolutely 0 mechanical aptitude and I don't know anybody witha computer. I am the type of guy that keeps the service departments in business. But I will be back on the road again TODAY.
Glad to hear you're back on the road! Just out of curiosity (does anyone know...), could the Injector Module make the cps go bad? or vice versa? Sort of a strange coincidence that they both went out?
You are asking the wrong guy! I wish I knew, or had the time to have somebody to put the time in to get to the bottom of the situation. I do think that the 7.3 is worth the investment to keep it on the road.
