egr
i was under the hood of my 89 300 eft and noticed the vac line to my egr was plugged..... what problems could this cause? is it worth replacing it and hooking it back up or just letting it be?

The egr valve normally only works after warm up and the engine is under load. If it is opening during idle it will make the motor run rough. An easy way to check if the egr valve is working is to apply vacuum to the blocked off port on the valve. Check and see if the valve opens. It could be possible that the valve was stuck open and thats why they disconnected it.
