Don't mean to hijack, but I need to know the valve timing for a stock cam to do my exhaust analysis. I need to know the crank degrees when the intake and exhaust valves open and close during the overlap interval between the end of an exhaust stroke and the beginning of an intake stroke.

not hijacking cause that was my next question, wanting to evaluate that cam and maybe see if I can first off figure out the dynamic compression and next maybe do a regrind or custom grind to up the dynamic or optimize the cam timing for better power. Stock cams are alway a compromise and I think I can design a better one.

This is all above my pay grade, but I seem to recall there is not enough left on the table to justify a custom cam grind from previous posts on this topic. It seems there was not much of a compromise there but we all know that is all tied to springs and whatnot. I would have expected to see something on the market by now if good gains could be had. Just what I saw here and not what I know.

Wonder where the cam specs are anyway? I have never seen them.

Well I want the spring specs for stock to start with because I have read where some suggest changing springs when you run more boost etc and since I have several sets of roller cam springs around it would be nice to see if any of them would fall within what could be used as an upgrade. Then I have seen a couple custom cams around for these engines but the cores are hard to come by. although I do think I know where to get them and would think that there has to be some gains to be had in this area.

Yep. A lot of thoughts come to mind. Loafing engine designed to perform fairly well at lower boost levels and do it for a long long time. No wonder they went to PMRs since under warranty you weren't going to hurt it without modding. Anyone toast the PMRs in the stock engine? Yeah. Proper stock engine that is well taken care of is about bulletproof.

Ever seen the turbo and plumbing on a T444E in a truck? Everything is huge, much bigger. I call it detuning.

Don't know if this will help, but the Comp Cam's 910 springs are direct drop in replacements for our motors.
