'88tailgate finish panel
I got a real nice tailgate for $50 with the finish panel, however, I need to replace the three plastic mounting brackets that are between the tailgate and the Stainless Panel, the bottoms of the brackets are broken off. Are these brackets a Factory Item?? cause I cant find it in LMC or Blue Oval,
'spose I could try the junky as well,-probably a better Idea, But would rather get'em new if I could. - anyone know of anyplace else that would have these?? thanks.

They can be had, you just have to find a good auto body shop who knows where to look. I had a guy buy me a set a few years back, now I need another set so if I end up getting them from him again I'll let you know the part number.

I did get some at FORD but $$$ .And was told thy were discontinued . SO now every time I see a truck with trashed panel I get any good mounts off. But I'm all out right now.
Guess I should have bought that 96 4x4 for $500 last week .
There was a post while back but guy never got back to tell us how search went. Good luck
