I'm off for another week of hunting. Wish me luck. I've killed 3 bucks already & I hope to limit out this trip. I can kill 3 more if I can find them.The bucks will be in full rut by now so maybe I can find a big one. See ya'll in a few days.

 

good luck,I harvested an 8 pointer yesterday,have my doe or buck without antlers tag left,and tomorrow and 4 days 2 weeks from now to fill it. shouldn't be too difficult.

 

WAAAAA!You guys are killing me here!I thought for sure when I moved here from Michigan my hunting days would continue,but down here,unless you own land or have a zillion dollars to rent somebody`s land,you aint huntin!Man,I miss Michigan!I could hunt almost anywhere there!

 

same way here KT you can lease prime whitetail land for 1,000's of dollars a year,you can have a friend that has private property,or you can be like me and a lot of others and have to hunt the very few public places available,and hunt deer that are already spooky from the bow hunters.

 

It looks like I may be done for the year, got a 8 pointer and a doe, my freezer is full.

I got another good buck this Tuesday. I sat & watched 12 deer Monday but none were big enough to shoot.I held out & got a big 7 pt Tuesday.My freezer will be full now. I have killed 4 deer this yr & I have a little left from last yr.We will not be buying much beef this yr. I'd guess I'll have about 250 lbs of deer in the freezer when I process this last one.
