I thought those intakes can blow turbos?? I was thinking of installing one myself but read about the risks all over.....are you worried about problems?

Not sure on that one, we've got an '03 SD with a setup that was installed over 144,000 miles ago. No problems to report.
Well im defiantly not getting better mpg just because i get on it to hear it. But i can feel the difference in power. It pulls alot harder when i get on it
I'd love to think that your $200 added something other than noise, but too many people have dyno'd these intakes and filters and shown them to do pretty much nothing. The 150 forum has lots of guys running them and a few that actually ran the trucks on a dyno. The proof is in the numbers.
wow.. i guess all you guys wont know how it is until you get one. why are you all so doubtful on this guys statements. i for one have almost the same setup. and from the time that intake went on, it was a night and day difference!
its funny how several say that there isnt any difference because i do alot of highway driving to and from work and have noticed a increase in the mpg.. and the truck does also pull alot harder from a dead stop... i didnt get a k&n intake though i have the airaid system.. and it does sound awsome
