The reason why I was pissed because this is a break we all need bad. But the toy hauler is in the back yard we will just go have a camp out there.

All kidding aside...Have them really check out the underpinnings to make sure nothing is hiding under there...

No under bodie damage that I can see It drives the same as it did before the wreck

Well I'm a mom so first off thank goodness you're ok!! Now that we know you're ok I have to say I always wondered how they would take a hit. With a small lift I always worry if hit from behind at a good speed it could REALLY hurt someone!!

Yah this is my 2 crash with an excursion. I have a 00 X and it was in a wreck and it held up great. These trucks are so strong

I was expecting much worse honestly. Id make sure that frame didnt get tweaked as it looks like the trailor hitch took a large part of the impact as well.

I would see if this 'could' be the time to UPGRADE that rear receiver...with a Putnam XDR like this one http://trailersnhitches.com/putnamcart/25230.html

I'd REALLY see if the shop can install this one...1500# dead load tongue rating and 1600# WD rating!!!

Just a thought...this may be the time to SEE!!!

What kind of car hit you in the back and do you have any pics of that car? I bet it was pretty screwed up.

Yah it was a little toyota corala. I just got the word it is totaled.
