my cluster has no tach and the new (old) one does. Will i still be able to swap internals and retain my mileage?
EDIT: Ok i found out that i can swap the internals to retain my mileage. all i need now is instructions on the re-wiring procedure.

As far as rewiring, yes you can rewire it to work but some of the light indicators will have the wrong lettering for them.
Just swap the wires from one plug to the other and/or on the same plug as required.
The 1992 & 1993 Clusters are the same and the 1994 & 1995 clusters are the same.

subford, those are the diagrams i wanted, thanks. but i do remember reading that the clusters on the f series trucks are different than broncos. for example, above it says that pin 1 on the 250 harness is not used but on the '93 cluster that i have, pin 1 is used and pin 2 is unused. my '95 has pin 1 and 2 used but 3 is unused. can i just pull the wire out of slot on the harness and put it in another or will i have to cut, strip, and solder?
also, since pin 3 on my 250 harness is not used, there is no contact terminal on it. could i also swap this from pin 2 to pin 3?

I just looked at the pin-out for the 1993 F series and they are identical to the 1993 Bronco that I posted. So I think who ever posted that, they are wrong.
Are you saying you have a cluster that uses pin #1 and not pin #2 on a 1993 cluster?
I am looking at a non-tach cluster out of a 1995 F150 and it uses pins 1 to 4, 6-8, 11-14 of C250 so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Ok, im glad to hear the bronco is the same. so i can print out those diagrams and match the wires. I was just stating the wire configuration from memory but i guess i remembered incorrectly. if you're looking at a '95 C250 i'll take your word for it. so i have the diagram aspect out of the way all i need to worry about now is the actual swapping. do i cut, strip, and solder or can i just pull the wire from one harness slot to another? also, those unused pins are missing contact terminals so can i swap those too? thanks for your help so far by the way.

from studying the wire diagrams i have two questions. all the curcuits match except "unique ground to gauges." It is curcuit number 875 on the '95 and it is curcuit number 570 on the '93. is this ok?
also, i see that some wires go to multiple pins. do i splice this wire or solder a connecting wire from it to the necessary pin(s)?
