door lock actuators
i just bought a 1990 f250 supercab 7.3l diesel and neither of the door locks will move up and down manually or with either switch. a mechanic told me i needed new actuators. I got replacement actuators but i am having trouble getting the old ones out and i dont want to break anything. Has anyone done this before? What is the best way to do this?

Remove door panel
drill out rivet holding actuators.
Get small mirror to see how linkage is hooked up
unbolt door latch for a little room. the actuator linkage should come off . I cant remember if it has one of those plastic holders that you have to turn to remove . I think it does.
Reinstall . If you can get a camera in there and take pictures. Those linkages can be a bear.
It been 5 yrs so I bet I missed something . I know I removed latch. Take time itsjust a no room so dont cu yourself I cut pc of small hose lenthwise and slip over any sharp edges . No cuts is good Have a good one.
