Will I notice the AIH delete? Will you gain anymore airflow with it gone? I know its to help with cold starts. Just wondering if its point less to do this to just add a tap for the boost gauge.Is there REALLY an inprovement? I don't know thats why I am asking.

I didn't really notice a difference in seat of the pants performance. Also it has nothing to do with cold starts. It only comes on in cold weather after you have cranked the truck and after the glow plugs have turned off (up to 2 minutes after starting the truck). It's sole purpose is to reduce the white smoke at idle if you crank you truck up on a cold morning and let it idle in the driveway. Personally, I never saw a change in white smoke either.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I didn't know it came on after glow plug shut off. Mine smokes white for a few minutes after the glow plugs shut off. I guess thats normal. I wish I could check my glow plugs but I cann't seem to undo the wire harness to probe it. Any ideas?
