ford voided my warranty on my mustang gt after it dropped a valve for the 3rd time. the only thing i had done to it at the time was mid pipe and flowmasters. they told me there was evidence of a chip being on the car previously. i bought the car used and that was where the evidence came from. no chip in the car when it broke though. don't trust everything you hear or read about warranties. dealerships will find a way to not warranty a car. your best bet on warranties is talk to your local dealer and see what they will consider to void your warranty. some dealers are modified friendly and will take into consideration certain modification.
that is odd, when my car has problems i just take it in to any dealer down here and they will take my warrenty, i even fought with one of the service managers about this and i showed him the act and he HAD to work on my car and did not say anything after that.
Watch out i did read a few threads on here about ford adding a contract into your trucks contract that voids the MM act when you sign it, i do not know about this but i am going to talk to my sales man and see if we can get around this little contract if it shows its ugly face

Whether or not you sign the "no mod" statement acknowledging you understand is basically meaning less, if you don't sign they just substitute another paper that says it was explained to you and you refused to sign.
Even so, it in no way "voids the MM act", which doesn't require them to warranty a vehicle with unauthorized modifications anyway.
