Kerosene vs propane
Hey! i heard that kerosene was bad heat to use when painting your truck because it would take the gloss out of the paint. Would it be alright to use it for the primer coats or should i avoid it all together? Also is propane a safe heat to use? Thanks for any help!

NO OPEN FLAME is safe to use..... in an enclosed area.
Kerosene does not burn as clean as Propane. So it's the soot that it puts out. But forced air combustions are more efficient.

I've used both types to heat my garage for painting and I have not had any problems. After I get the garage to temp and I am ready to paint I turn off the heater(s) while I'm painting and once the fumes clear I turn them back on, so the paint can cure properly.
