IDM help
ok i've been trying to dissect these posts to figure out how to do idm mod. i need an idm for dummies. please help. getting gauges, plan on doin idm mod, and a 10k version. think i'll over tax my oil? will idm help much? should i just buy one in a junk yard from a 99.5+ or work on mine? hey- i could swap idm's with my dads 99.5

You might want to get another IDM to mod just incase something goes bad. Just a thought.

I did the IDM mod, and I thought that I took the time to do everything right and I ended up dumping 250 into a new one.
I hope you have better luck then I did. It seems easy and it is easy. Easy to screw up.

well, cant i find a good one on a low mile wreck truck, and swap them? (i still like the idea of taking my dads out of his truck and replacing with mine lol). if i disappear over a week or two, check somerset ky obituaries. u'll know i got desperate.
