I put the premium Warn hubs on mine and found that the holes in the vacuum fittings were almost rusted shut! Anywho, I jacked some silicone caulk in each hose and stuck them back on the fittings to look OEM. I just waited to run the truck until the caulk dried!!

This doesnt make sence tho. It went into 4x4 great and i snapped a hub pulling the truck out of a ditch. But it had a hard time going into low. Now i have the warns and it goes into 4 low but i still have vent and everything. Il have to check this out tomorrow. The are suppose to be blocked off right?

Yes, they are supposed to be blocked off with the Warn hubs (or any other aftermarket manual hubs). Maybe you had a vacuum leak in the Ford hubs, causing erratic operation and now the o-rings of the Warns are keeping the vacuum leak from happening? Just a guess.

Stupid question....does your Bronco have vacuum-actuated or mechanical auto hubs? I asked a buddy of mine who had previously owned a '94 and he wasn't sure. That could also be the reason why changing the hubs didn't affect anything in the defroster....

TJ how does the rear 05 cap look and feel on an 02. Basically will the 05 caps fit on an 02 front and rear? Did you just put the 05 caps on the front only or did you put them all the way around?
