Can you get just the replacement glass with the little plastic prongs from the dealer or do the just sell the whole assembly? Leaving work today a gust of wind swung the door of a S-10 into my passenger mirror and knocked out both pieces of glass. Only my luck could get the timing of catching that door with my mirror. The bottom glass snapped back in but the big upper mirror has a crack and a broken plastic prong.
Anyone have a spare passenger trailer tow mirror they don't want? Any help would be appreciated.
you can buy the glass pretty cheap, but sounds to me like the perfect reason for a mirror upgrade. heck, if you can't swing the entire mirror upgrade, you can at least get the glass with the arrow in it.

I didn't know they had a glass with the arrow in it for the trailer mirrors. I thought they only offered the light on the outside. Whatever I do it has to be quick since I need to pull my trailer tomorrow.
i think i have 2 new pins for the small mirror, if you want them they yours,, do you need both of them, top and bottom one?
Thanks anyway but the small mirror held up. I was able to just snap that one back in with no problems. I guess I'll be making a trip to the Ford dealer this morning hoping they have a big mirror glass in stock.
