Air filter help
I'm a new owner of a 2003 Ex with 6.0 as well as diesel ownership. After reading all the info on filters,oil types and general maint. I decided to change all filters and the oil so I know the quality that is in the engine. I purchased the required filters per this site as well as the oil. When I went to change the air filter it was not what I bought. The one on the truck is rectangular and made out of paper. It also has the word visteon on the top of the housing. Anybody know anything about this or seen it before? This thing looks totaly OEM but it is not what the book I looked at says should be there.

No it's not like that one either. I looked at that site and could not find one. The filter actually looks like the one for vans of that vintage. There were two A/F listings on the Diesel Filter site and the one for vans is paper and looks like it. This is wierd.
