Once saw one guy flush out his outboard motor with a garden hose by taking out each spark plug, and filling each cylinder, then he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't run anymore, so he took it to a mech to have it looked at.
The marine mehcanic discovered the, ahem...... ""problem"" when he got a face full of greasy water after pulling the plugs and trying to turn it over.

HA !! i tried the same thing with the sand ... I'm getting such good fuel mileage that I have to siphon out fuel from both tanks every 100 miles. But how come the fuel gets this green tint to it ??

I thought this was a great idea, so I did it right away but I couldn't find sandblasting sand so I used cement instead. It ported my valves AND filled the gaps in the piston rings! Now all eight holes compression-test DRY at over 100 p.s.i.! That's more than my Scout even!
