when i made an order for my 3rd brake light and mirror lights, they said it was all in stock. when it did not arrive a week later i called, and they said they were out of the 3rd brake lights but when be in soon. got the order like 3 weeks after i placed it. not a big deal. products are a+ and even though they were late on the order, customer service was really good.

I have a lot of Recon's products and I have ordered everything directly from them. I am very happy with all of their products fit/finish/quality and the customer service I recieved from them.

The only problem I had was with their LED taillights. They are the exact same taillights you can buy from Dfuser for $100 less, or on ebay for about $150 less. When I asked them about this the assured me that their lights were not the same and were a better quality, but they offered me a $100 price break since I had ordered so many things form them. When I got the lights I spoke to a member here that had bought the same style off of ebay. The part numbers molded into the plastic were the exact same on both of our lights, and they even came with the same sticker over the reverse light socket. For that reason I recommend everyone get their LED taillights elsewhere, no reason to pay almost twice as much for the same thing.

You may want to check out this thread and send Storm a PM. He had put together a group buy with some really good discounts.

Private Message, it's kind of like sending an email. If you click on someones name you will get a little drop down menu, the third one down is send a private message. Click on that and it will bring up a page for you to fill out a headline, and write the message.

They are pretty much the same exact units just not branded by Recon.

I ordered the cargo LED lights two years ago.

They switched the product from a bar to 4 fixtures strug along a wire with 6 leds in each fixture.

Two strings (total 8 fixtures) and two weeks later 7 fixtures unlit.

Recon sent me another set so now I have 16 fixtures installed and I have not seen more than 4 lit in two years. Some light, then go out and then relight. I think only one works in the summer and in cooler temperatures more light.

I gave up on RECON since I never got a reasonable answer and got tired of being their test lab.

I expected alot more customer service and interest to solve a problem- not sending me more junk.

It sounds like most customers are satisfied.

I've got:
- Smoked Mirror LEDs
- Smoked Cab Clearance Lights
- Smoked LED Third Brake Light
- LED Dome Lights
- White Lightning LED Tailgate Bar
- Big Rig Amber Running/Turn LED Bar Lights under each side

The only thing I had a problem with was the LED tailgate bar, one side had a bad section in it, so they sent me a new one out ASAP and I had it in about 5 days. I didn't even have to return the old one, just took some pictures of the bad section and emailed them, and I had a free replacement.

I'd recommend Recon 100%
