460 upgades

What can I do to upgrade a 1996 460, such as throttle body spacer, cold air intake, dual exhaust, power programmer, larger mass air flow sensor, and other things like this? This truck is not a daily driver but does get driven a few times a week and regularly pulls between 4000 and 10000 pounds. I don't want to spend alot of money because it does fine I just want it to do better.

I think you pretty much said it yourself. The best things you could do is a set of long tube headers, and a nice flowing exhaust system. A nice extra would be a cold air intake, and a the chip. You could see 20-30 horsepower I suspect with that combination, better gas mileage, and a quicker throttle response in all ranges. Speaking of throtte body spacer, I am pretty much sold they dont do anyting, alot of guys says its just a $40 paperweight. I presume there correct, theres only so much a spacer would do for an engine.
